Our Team
Comprising educators with extensive experience in early childhood education, our team is dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends. All educators and leaders prioritize respecting each child’s learning style and individual achievements.
Our educators are trained in Conscious Discipline, an evidence-based program by Dr. Becky A. Bailey. This approach empowers adults to handle daily conflicts consciously, transforming them into opportunities for teaching essential life skills to children.

Ana Colwell pursued psychology to understand and inspire people, particularly in communities facing significant challenges. Her teaching career began over 18 years ago in the Dominican Republic, where she developed her passion for education. In the U.S., Ana has taught in Spanish Immersion schools, directed renowned programs, and managed projects for an Ed-tech company.
With a deep commitment to holistic child development, Ana is dedicated to providing her extensive experience to children and the community. As a mother of two, she founded La Creare Schools to create a high-quality educational environment where children feel safe, supported, and empowered to become future leaders.
